Thanks

Thanks to everyone who attended the Native Plants for Native Bee Workshop and Garden Blitz on May 31, Day of the Honey Bee.  A lot of attendees agreed to put native plants in their gardens at home!

And thanks again to our sponsors, The City of North Vancouver and
Whole Foods West Vancouver

Native Bee Displays

The BeeFriendly display board was at the District of North Vancouver Municipal Hall for the month of June. The display board will be at the City of North Vancouver Municipal Hall for the month of August. We will also be installing some of our native bee nesting boxes at the City Hall and a number of Municipal staff have volunteered to be the Bee Stewards.
We are looking for Bee Stewards for our Native Bee Pilot Program!! BeeFriendly is working with the City of North Vancouver on this program. More information is available at:

To find out more information about the Bee Stewards Program,
please send an e-mail to info@beefriendly.ca.
