Poster for the No Vacancy exhibit
The sister exhibition opened on June 21st at the Niagara Artists Centre

Two exhibitions, at two institutions, exploring the past and present of motels and motel culture.  Both venues will explore different aspects of this cultural to examine the up’s and down’s of the industry and make the visitor think about their experiences and the current state of these buildings within our community.  Visitors to the Niagara Falls History Museum (5810 Ferry Street, Niagara Falls) will be provided with a nostalgic, familiar and interactive experience with intimate stories that will resonate with visitors.  The Niagara Artists Centre (354 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines) component will explore the current state of motels with artist installations by Oliver Pauk and Zach Slootsky.
