A tasty event!
On June 9, CDI hosted “A Taste of Home Eveningâ€, a unique culinary event in support of our Taste of Home program. The event was a huge success and raised more than $150,000 for our Taste of Home program, an innovative after school cooking program for children living in shelters. Thank you to everyone who attended!
Check out photos from the event.
At the event, hosted by Bonnie Stern, some of Toronto’s top chefs lent their support to the cause by transforming the recipes used in the program into delicious one-bite creations. A big thank you to the following chefs for supporting this event:
- Michael Caballo, Chef/Owner, Edulis Restaurant
- Sam Gelman, Executive Chef, Momofuku Toronto
- Jamie Kennedy, Owner/Executive Chef, Jamie Kennedy Kitchens
- Albert Ponzo, Chef de Cuisine, Le Sélect Bistro
- Tyler Shedden, Chef de Cuisine, Café Boulud
- Scott Vivian, Chef/Owner, Beast Restaurant
- Joanne Yolles, Pastry Chef
A special thanks to all of our sponsors. Without you, this event would not have been possible.
