  • PingdomPingdom is joining SolarWinds- Pingdom is being acquired by SolarWinds, a publicly traded Austin-based IT-management and monitoring software company. SolarWinds released a statement: "Upon completion of the transaction, SolarWinds plans to allow the Pingdom business to continue operating as before and will maintain the Pingdom brand." With the acquisition of Pingdom, the two companies aim to be "the standard platform for web monitoring and performance management."- June 18
