Howdy!
Hope you've been enjoying your summer. I've been enjoying getting out and about as much as possible-- trying to take advantage of the fabulous Chicago weather while it lasts. There have been a lot of great outdoor concerts, movies and new museum exhibits.
The Chicago premiere of 'Bicycle Notes' at the Sound of Silent Film Festival was a blast. I got to perform the music live with the animation on the big screen at the gorgeous Music Box Theater. I was playing hammered dulcimer and percussion and triggering electronic sounds with my feet!

The most recent Film Festival featuring Bicycle Notes was the Knoxville Film & Music Festival in Tennessee. Animator Fernanda Torres and I had plans of going and recording the experience as well, but unfortunately didn't make it. We are still very honored to have been featured in the festival.
Fernanda and I are continuing to work on our next animation project here in Chicago now and are looking forward to updating you with our progress.

In other news, a new film project I was involved in has come to completion and just received top-honors at the Columbia University Film Festival in New York. It's a political-thriller called "Devil's Work" and I am very excited about about sharing the film and my original film score with you. More updates on this soon!
