Alpha Invitation Dinner

What is the Christian faith all about? Through the Alpha Course, you can explore some fundamental questions about what it means to be a Christian, and raise and discuss difficult questions in a non-threatening environment. Regardless of whether you are a non-Christian, a new believer, or a long-time Church attender, you'll find this course beneficial.
The Alpha Course commences with an Invitation Dinner at 7pm on Tuesday 5 Aug. The Alpha Course then runs every concurrent Tuesday night until 30 Sept from 7pm to 9.15pm in the Church Café. Dinner is provided at the course for attendees and the cost is free!
Come to the Alpha Invitation Dinner to find out more about the course, and don't forget to invite your family members and friends!
RSVPs are essential - for more information or to RSVP, contact Joshua Thomson (subialpha2014@gmail.com or 0401 198 500).

Come Pray With Me

Prayer Before Service

We meet every Sundays, 8.30am to 10am in the Prayer Meeting Room. You can come and leave anytime. >>

Prayer After Service

Please come to the front after the service and take a seat, a prayer team member or the speaker will be available to pray with you. >>

Prayer Points

  1. Health issues. Please pray for those who need are sick, undergoing medication or surgery. Pray for healing and restoration.
  2. Pray for revival and spiritual awakening. Pray for God to bestow spiritual hunger in His people and draw them to fervent intercession. God has to grant people the genuine faith and the fervent desire for prayer. With all our promotion and programming, we cannot produce a genuine prayer movement. (Philippians 2:13)
  3. David & Jessica Liaw in Cambodia. Praise God for good progress on David's shoulder recovery, for the new finance manager & assistant who have taken over from Jess's role, Jess's continued bible readings with their house helpers, and for good experiences at the Mercy Medical Centre. Please pray for recovery from their various health issues (esp their shoulders), and for Jess as she prepares for her level 2 language assessment.
View the Liaw's latest newsletter here.
  4. Jamie & Claudia Boland in Uganda. The Boland family ask for special prayer for protection. Last week, threats to kill were verbally reported to them concerning expat workers at Africa Renewal University. One of the threats was directed toward the Principal, who formerly resided where the Bolands now live, and it seems that the assailants are unaware that he has since moved from their property. They received a note in their front gate on Tuesday about this threat. Please pray for God's protection for everyone concerned.
  5. Pray for Fremantle Church of Christ as we go into partnership with them.
  6. Mission Trip to Kenya. Pray for the team as minister. Pray also for peace in the region, and safety of our team and ministry partners in Kenya.
  7. Ming Poi Pitt and family. Please keep them in your prayers during this difficult time.

If you would like your prayer request published here, please email office@subiacochurch.com. For urgent prayer requests (which will be directed to the Elders, staff and prayer team), send an email to the same address and mark urgent or confidential.
