  FOLLOW THE PLAYWRIGHT

Greetings,

I'm pleased to share with you the second submission of PGC's new initiative, Follow The Playwright. Canadian playwrights will now have the opportunity to connect with you, in an innovative way. This project will give playwrights an opportunity to read an excerpt of their own published work(s), which PGC will promote on social media, and other online platforms that will showcase the playwright and their script(s).

Our second playwright, which you can follow, is Anna Fuerstenberg. I met Anna at PGC's annual conference in Montreal in June. I envied her radiant and angelic qualities. When I first spoke to Anna, I was immediately embraced with a strong and fierce persona. At that point, I knew Anna was one of a kind! Recently, Anna came by the PGC office to drop off some books. While she was leaving, I proposed she take part in this project... Not knowing what she was really getting into, she allowed me to record her reading an excerpt of Blind Dates.

I hope you enjoy the excerpt, I had a few chuckles listening to it.

Sincerely,

Charlie Andrews
