Karen Campbell Retires as Workshop Manager

Workshop Manager Karen Campbell has announced her retirement after 24 years of dedicated service to Futures.
“I am excited about my retirement but it is hard to leave,” said Karen. “I have loved working with everyone and will miss them immensely.”
“I am looking forward to spending more time with my grandkids and my mom and dad.,” she said.
Futures President/CEO Bill Leven said, “Karen has been a mainstay at Futures.  She has always been committed and dedicated to our mission and to our customers.”
“We will miss her but we certainly wish her well and hope she enjoys her retirement.”
Karen started her career at Futures as a part-time temporary life skills instructor in 1990. She became a full-time production supervisor in 1992 and has been the workshop manager since 2001.
In addition to spending more time with family, Karen’s immediate plans for retirement include making items to sell at craft shows.  She also plans to get chickens to produce eggs and goats for milk.
Our best wishes to Karen for a long and happy retirement!
