We are looking forward to seeing you at the market, where you can support your local economy, farmers and artisans. We are open every Thursday from 4 to 8pm.
Farm of the week...
Bentley Hill
Bentley Hill Farm is run by Tyler Jones and a passionate group of farmers growing the great array of fruits and vegetables that the fertile Georgia lands have to offer. Their tables are now bursting with fresh food harvested by the very hands that sells them. The farmers at Bentley Hill also work toward spreading knowledge and increasing peoples interest in organic healthy living.
Chef Demo
Don't miss EAV very own personal chef Rose Bigelow this Thursday as she demonstrates how to create cool summer soups with market fresh veggies and herbs . Rosa has her own catering service RosaRose Catering, through which she has won the heart of many in the city. She's loved for the outstanding flavor of her meals as well as her flexibility as a manager and chef to make any type of event a successful one, from intimate gatherings, weekly home meals to large-scale events.

Atlanta: Let's make this happen!
Our friends from The Spotted Trotter have a great surprise: They will be joining the upcoming Krog St Market with their second charcuterie in the city and first restaurant, The Cockentrice!
It's been an incredible feat for them to make this happen and they now need our help to fully realize it. They have started a Kick Starter campaign that ends the first week of August (for those not familiar with Kick Starter, if the deadline arrives and all the funds needed are not raised, they get none.) So the race has begun and any pledge of support will make a difference. Why help? you will be investing in a concept that has never been seen in the city -- full animal butchery and a restaurant that will put Atlanta on the map for true, Southern charcuterie -- a 2000 year-old art that has yet to be fully explored in the South. But they also offer amazing rewards for the donations including classes, private dinners and more! Go to The Spotted Trotter' Kick Starter campaign page to learn more and make a pledge today!
Meet William Whitley Abel from Ups and Downs farm in Franklin, Georgia. A place of abundant harvest and healthy happy animals. William is currently gathering efforts to renovate the cabin at the farm to better serve its community.
Watch the KickStarter interview and fall in love with this charming place, there are some tasty advantages for your pledge to help before July 26!

Bike to the Market
Your efforts to support your community don't have to end at buying local. Choose walking or biking to the market instead of car transportation, and help improve your neighborhood's carbon footprint. Cruise the roads of the East Atlanta Village and enjoy the outdoors in support of your community.
Driving to the market? Park on the sidestreets off Stokewood Ave or try the lot located at 1231 Glenwood Ave - open tonight only from 4 to 8 for market patrons .
