We are so excited to host our first ever Star Wars party
TOMORROW! Bring the whole family between 11 and 2 for games, crafts and activities.
Snap a Star Wars selfie with your favorite character, participate in our Jedi Academy, and enjoy a Yoda Soda and Wookie Cookie! Costumes are encouraged but optional. Come join us!
Ready, Set, Kindergarten!
Tuesday, August 12, 10:00 am & 6:30 pm
Do you have a child beginning kindergarten this fall? To help your child prepare, we will be offering Ready, Set, Kindergarten! at two sessions, one morning and one evening. Children will enjoy stories, games and crafts with a school-related theme. Please register in advance by calling the Children's Department at 330-683-1065.
Ice Cream Social
Friday, August 15, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
This is the final event for the children's summer reading program. The whole family is invited to stop in and enjoy a delicious treat at our ice cream social. However, the reading continues through August 16, so keep reading and earning prizes!
We Read!
A Celebration of Books and Community
We are continuing our celebration of Orrville's Sesquicentennial by gathering 150 of YOUR favorite family titles! Once our collection is complete, we will post an album with photos of your family and friends holding their "We Read" recommendations! Each family who submits a title and has a photo taken will receive a We Read window cling and a complete list of the compiled recommendations. If you'd like to submit a title and photo, please call the library at 330-683-1065 or email
