You might remember I sent the below email recently.

Unfortunately, I have to cancel our Precinct meeting to attend the County-wide mandatory meeting for Precinct Chairs.

So you can stay informed, here is the email I received from SD7 leadership about the meeting I will attend.  Feel free to act on any of this information.

Dear friends,

First, I want to remind everyone that the HCRP organizational meeting will be held this Saturday, July 12. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., and the meeting will be called to order at 10:00 a.m.  The meeting will be held at the Norris Conference Center, 816 Town & Country Blvd., Ste. 210, Houston, TX 77024.  Please note that this is a brand new location.

It is very important that all precinct chairs attend this meeting, as we will be officially sworn in for the 2014-2016 term.  Additionally, we will be approving our permanent rules and bylaws, as well as caucusing by senatorial district to elect our district chair and representatives to each of the standing committees.

We will have our regular business meeting followed by training from the state party and the state senate district caucuses with lunch provided.

Location: CityCentre is at the southeast corner of I-10 and Beltway 8. Enter from the northbound Beltway 8 feeder (easier) or the I-10 feeder (harder). Park on the third level of the garage. Doors to the Norris Conference Center are on the south side of the garage.

NOTE: the Property Management has instructed us that Political Signs Outside on the Property are NOT Allowed.

Our SD7 organizational meeting is just to elect representatives from SD7 to the committees listed in our meeting call and to elect our Senatorial District 7 Chairman.  If you would like to be on a committee, please call me to discuss the duties and work expectations for the committee.

IMPORTANT: We will also be having two Phone Conference calls to discuss the Organizational Meeting. Choose one to call in on. The items discussed will be the same each day. Our first phone conference will take place this Thursday, July 10th at 7:00pm. The second conference call will take place this Friday, July 11th at7:00pm.

Please call the phone number (605) 562-3131.

Enter the access code 217629, followed by the # key.

Precinct 669 Organizational Meeting Proposed Date Saturday

Would you and anyone you know be interested in meeting at my office Saturday Morning from 10am to say noon to discuss organizing our Precinct?

My office is at 10216 Fairbanks N. Houston Rd. 77064 near the Raceway Park on Beltway 8 near 249.

If 10am works for a majority, we'll confirm that, so please hit reply and let me know.

We need to organize:

We also have at least one resident who was able to go to the State GOP Convention. We can hear from her and anyone else who went on that.

We'd love any and all support.

We'd welcome all levels of support from Candidates to very experienced political workers to novices.

Invite anyone you know from 669. I will try to get Party Participation.

Thanks,
