Dear <<First Name>>,
We will conclude our worship series, World Cup: Rhythms of Faith from Around the World, as we turn our attention to Marion Grau this Sunday. Grau is a German theologian who teaches in Berkeley at Church Divinity School of the Pacific. I was able to take several courses with Professor Grau and I look forward to drawing upon her work as we root our worship in Genesis 25.19-34, a story weaving themes of survival and trickery and deceit and power. God blesses one of the twins…join us Sunday at 10:30 am (5265 H Street) to learn more about this story of birthrights, trickery, & redemption. A surprise might just be in the works for our final worship gathering in this series. Join us to see for yourself.
Our Finance & Trustees teams have been working together over the last year to help ensure the viability of our facility for future generations. To this end, they have developed a dynamic long-term plan for capital improvements. The next step in our process will be to sell the home our church owns in River Park. The sale of this property will allow us to make critical capital improvements on our church facility in the coming year. Help us take this important next step...join us for a cleaning party from 5:00 - 9:00 pm on Friday, August 1. The home is located at 340 Sandburg Sacramento, CA 95819. We'll have cleaning supplies & dinner for those able to join us! If you know of anyone who might be interested in purchasing the property, email Larry here to start the conversation.
Finally, learn more and sign-up for the next Blueprint for Discipleship series which will be offered as a retreat August 22 - 23. This is an excellent way for people to learn more about growing in faith at The Table.
Peace,
Matt
