Well Met July 2
at Marin County Fair

Welcome to the Watershed
You stopped by our booth, filled out a card, met us, played with the watershed model and asked questions. We are grateful for your interest and your participation in our watershed.
We send out a monthly newsletter of watershed related events. And there is a ton of useful information on our website.

Annual Bike Ride and BBQ
Sat. Aug. 16 we will be hosting our annual Bike the Watershed and BBQ starting from McInnis Park at 10 am and finishing up at McInnis for BBQ around 1:00 pm. The ride details are still being worked out so check the website for the most up to date info. We hope you will join us on this fun event! We stop frequently to talk about unique watershed features, nature and history. Not a grueling ride.

Watershed Tours
GWC offers tours of the headwaters, bay, and city portion of Gallinas Creek. Rachel Kamman, noted local hydrologist and other local experts will be on hand to answer questions and provoke a new way of thinking about our creeks and waterways. Dates will be posted on the website as we confirm them. Our President, Art, is also known to offer creek tours by canoe to interested persons.

Monthly Meetings
The GWC Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month in the Community Room on the second floor of the Northgate Mall above the food court. Meetings are from 7 - 9 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend. We discuss many matters of interest concerning our local area and creeks in general. There is no meeting in August. Our next meeting is Sept. 3, 2014.

See You in the Watershed!
