Hello Fairy Feet Families & Friends,
This week marks the start of Term 3 and I am thrilled to be seeing all my little Fairy Feet Dancers...I have truly missed their delightful smiling faces over the holidays! I hope everyone has enjoyed the mid-year "break" and is ready for another fabulous Fairy Feet term ahead!
New Ivanhoe Classes
I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big welcome to all our new Fairy Feet families that are commencing with us this Term in the new Friday morning Ivanhoe East classes. I'm very happy with the positive response to the new classes and it's wonderful to have you all on board! If you haven't done so already, please LIKE the Fairy Feet Dance Club Facebook page to stay up to date with all the latest Fairy Feet news and also some great competitions!
Save the Date....For Our End of Year Concert!
I am excited to announce our end of year concert will be held on Sunday 14th December. Please remember this is a low-key event and just an opportunity for your child to wear a special costume and perform a rehearsed dance routine on stage for family and friends that may wish to come and watch. Participation is NOT compulsory.
There will be no sewing or costume purchasing required. Costumes will be supplied for a small hire fee and the cost will be added onto your Term 4 invoice.
If you already know that you are unavailable on this date OR if you do not want your child to participate in the concert please click here to notify me as soon as possible. Further concert details will be provided later in the Term.
(NB: The Toddler Tinkerbell Classes do not specifically perform at the concert - but those that wish to come along will be invited up on stage for a group song).
Dancing in Socks
Whilst I know we want to keep little feet warm in the winter months, I do request that students DO NOT dance in socks or tights due to the risk of them slipping over during class. If your child does not have ballet slippers or dance shoes - they need to dance with bare feet (or in soft canvas shoes).
Mernda Car Park
The Church has advised that there will be some maintenance works being carried out in the carpark over the coming weeks (commencement date is weather dependent). Access to the carpark during this time will be from the driveway infront of the play equipment (which is usually closed over with a chain). I am hoping that this won't cause too much disruption - thanks for your patience whilst the works are carried out.
I'm looking forward to sharing a wonderful Term 3 with all my beautiful little Fairy Feet Dancers.
As always, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, queries, concerns or feedback.
Kind regards,
"Miss Laura"
