Cancellation Policy Reminder
We would just like to remind members on the cancellation policy. To qualify for a full refund:
- For weekend bookings cancellation must be received by 10pm the Tuesday evening prior to the weekend.
- For weekday bookings cancellations must be received by 10pm 3 days prior to the booking
Cancellation after this cutoff will lose all funds except if beds are on-sold, then a $5 fee only will apply. Any variation to this rule is on application to the committee. Refunds will be in the form of credits held to be used during the season. These may be returned at season end if not used.
Rangatira Reciprocal Rates
We have been fortunate to receive reciprocal rates from Rangatira Ski Club who have a lodge at Ohakune as well as Whakapapa. This could be a good option if you are wanting somewhere to stay in Ohakune. The rates are as follows:
Adults 25-64 weekend $40 per night, midweek $30 per night
Seniors 65+ $40 per night $24 per night
Intermediate 18-24 $27 $24
Junior 6-17 $27 $24
Child 0-5 $27 $14
Cancellation policy is similar to ours ie if you cancel before 72 hours prior to your booking you will get a refund, apart from a $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours before your booking there is no refund.
Confirmation of bookings at Turoa is immediate ( upon payment) and at Iwikau it will be one week before the booking. To book please email the booking officer Karen and identify yourself as a Taupo Ski Club member.

Fire Drill
There are now fire drill procedures located on the club noticeboard. Please familiarise yourself and your family on what to do in a fire emergency. We will be conducting some practice drills during the season so please be aware of what you should be doing.
Japan Ski Trip Opportunity
A club member, Mark Wisniewski, is organising a guided ski trip to Japan in February 2015. If you are interested and would like more information please contact Mark to discuss further or see the notice board at the club. You can contact Mark on mark.wisniewski@uttravel.co.nz

The New Zealand Alpine Club will be hosting a screening of the best films from this world famous festival. It will be held at the Great Lake Centre on Saturday 19th July at 6.30 pm. Tickets are available from Gordons Outdoors/Pack & Pedal or here at Eventopia
