First year outputs! 

The first year reporting has just been concluded with the summary of the activities performed by the consortium and of the achieved outputs which will be the base for the annual review taking place in September 2014. The reporting shows a high level of activities from all WPs and partners with 10 high quality deliverables submitted to the EC. News from CHIC

  • Partner ICCS will organize the workshop “Multiscale modelling of cancer” at the 3rd Virtual Physiological Human Conference 2014, which will be held on September 9-12, 2014 at Trondheim, Norway. The programme of the conference, in which the workshop is included, is available at  http://www.ntnu.edu/vph2014/programme
  • CHIC project annual review meeting will take place on the 3rd of September 2014 in Brussels.
  • CHIC general assembly will take place in Leuven in October 2014. Details will follow in advance of the meeting. 

News from the VPH community

  • VPH-Share hands-on demonstration at VPH2014 which will be held on September 12th, 2014 in Trondheim, Norway. See the programme of the conference for more information.
  • Health priorities of the Italian presidency of the EU Council: The priorities in the field of healthcare of the next Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be held by Italy during the second Semester of 2014. Read more 
  • European Commission promotes open access to scientific data: The European Commission on 26 June 2014 announced that it would be seeking ways to initiate “Science 2.0”, whereby researchers would be encouraged to take part in data sharing, avoiding duplication and improving accessibility to crucial research results.
