Aboyne & Deeside Festival

The Aboyne and Deeside Festival is an annual arts festival in Royal Deeside and this year it will take place from 25 July until 10 August 2014. It offers a broad range of events covering classical, folk and contemporary music, politics, thought, art, drama, literature and film.

I'm going to run a mixed media workshop for adults on Tuesday 29 July from 1 until 4 pm at The Creamery, Torphins. Cost: £35.00 pp.
On Friday 8 August I'm organising a mixed media session for children aged 5 to 8 from 2 until 3 pm at The Creamery. Costs: £15.00 per child.

Workshops by UDAS    

 

The aim of the Upper Deeside Art Socienty is to encourage an interest in art and provide opportunities for artists at all stages to practice and exhibit art on Deeside. Members (like myself) work in a wide range of media including painting, drawing, printing, wood and textiles. The Society offers a fantastic programme each year with talks, demonstrations, workshops and visits. Membership is £18.00 per year.
Non-members are very welcome to attend the workshops for a slightly higher price; £25.00 for one day and £50.00 for a two day workshop. From my own experience I can say the workshops are excellent value as you will be taught by professional art tutors!
