You will soon discover that your new neighborhood, a vibrant one in upper Manhattan, has a diverse array of food and fun to keep you happily busy throughout your four year journey in medical school. A few of your fellow students come together every year to compile the best-of-the-best so that when you arrive, you immediately feel at home and don't miss out on anything that New York has to offer. Here is the unofficial Insider's Guide to New York that takes you through the many neighborhoods in the city and offers tips about the best places to explore.
Additionally, we are planning events for you during move-in week, such as a long island wine tasting tour, a museum marathon and much more! Keep checking the Facebook page for more information and to see how you can join in on the fun. This will be a wonderful way to meet your fellow classmates before the start of Orientation.
