In our pursuit of expanding our possibilities of income for the mission in Honduras we have been working for over a year on our 501(c)3 status. We are glad to inform you that you can now deduct your donations to our ministry as we have been approved by the IRS. For more information you can contact us at info@freetheoppressed.org.

It's Summer Time!

Our kids are out of school for the summer and we organized a Mini Boot Camp for them, along with a Merit Bank, before they left: THEY HAD A BLAST!! They all competed, from small ones to big ones, and had lost of fun in the process. It was a privilege for us to do it for them!

Enriching the Armed Forces' Breeding Grounds

The Armed Forces Academy of Honduras along with the Air Force Academy and the Naval Academy have made Mission Character a part of their Senior Year Curriculum. Seven of our facilitators travel to their university weekly and have completed the first two books with them, Character & Vision, and we are now in a break while they perform their respective maneuvers. We will be back with them in September for the completion of the program.

Congratulations Moises!

We rejoice for what our God has done in Moises' life. He completed 6 months in our rehab program, after being brought in from the street by a compassionate stranger. He will go home for a few days and return for Phase 2 of our program: Discipleship & Leadership Training!

Team Building for a Recycling Company, Part 2

It was Part 2 for this local recycling company. Thirty five (35) more of their employees came to learn and absorb new team building principles that they can apply in their workplace.

Spirit Week in Faith Academy!

Faith Academy staff is seriously considering changing the name of this activity to Crazy Week! Each day all students and staff dressed the part, putting forth their best efforts and creativity. Winners were chosen for each day (which was an extremely hard task for the judges) and teachings were linked to each of the subjects. We congratulate all for an exceptional result! Here are some of our winners and outstanding participants:
Yuli and Jonathan, winners of Cartoon Day.
Yafeth and Parker, winners of Nations of the World Day. Yuli, Mayra and José.
Best Twins: Samuel and Paul plus Mia and Laurie
Daniella won as Lady Gaga and Laurie won again as Frida Kahlo on Celebrity Day. Bayron was outsanding as Eminem and Cenia as the Mona Lisa!
Alex and Laurie were the craziest during Crazy Day! Oscar Ivan and Brittany were also outstanding.

Ephesians 1:16

"We do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in our prayers."
We are grateful for God's provision through Embotelladora de Sula, a bottling company that for over 7 years has given us monthly donations of Quanty drinks and purified water. Our Prince of Peace Children have a delicious snack every afternoon and plenty of drinking water thanks to them. We pray God continues to prosper their business, their employees and their families.
