What does it take to get Canadian kids physically active? In this issue we profile a few of the many ways it ‘does take a village’ to get kids active. Our Annual Report provides an opportunity for you to learn more about GoodLife Kids Foundation and how we support physical activity programs for kids right across Canada. You’ll find out how one organization is ensuring kids have the right skills to include bike riding in their active day. And if you’re still wondering what it takes to get kids active, read how one GoodLife Kids volunteer is turning his personal goals into a fundraiser.

Number of players: 3 or more
Equipment: Metal can or bucket
This game is a combination of hide & seek and tag. One person is IT and a can or bucket is placed in the middle of the playing area. The other players run off and hide while IT counts to a designated number, then tries to find everyone. If a person is found and tagged they go to a "holding pen" for captured players. If one of the un-captured players manages to kick the can then all the captured players go free. The game is over once all the not-IT players have been captured.
