  accessibilitySPARK
call-for-volunteers

SPARKcon is a giant creativity explosion held in Downtown Raleigh during the first weekend in September. Last year SPARKcon was attended by over 50,000 people, involved 2000 artists, in 200+ events. When you take into account that current census information tells us that 13% of North Carolinians are living with a disability, it is possible that more than 6,500 SPARKcon attendees have a disability. Arts Access is setting up an accessibilitySPARK booth to provide attendees with disabilities information about getting around and successfully enjoying the festival. This will include information for people with disabilities including visual impairments, deaf and hard of hearing, intellectual disabilities, service animals and mobility impairments.

If you would like to assist at the accessibilitySPARK table during this super fun creativity explosion, contact Brandon for more info!
