Czech 10 Stars project opens; JHE adds new images feature!
The 10 Stars project in the Czech Republic was inaugurated in June, after more than 3 years of work. Mazel tov to project director Jan Kindermann and his team! Grouping restored synagogues and other Jewish sites, plus permanent exhibits, in 10 towns around the country, the 10 Stars is one of the most ambitious single Jewish heritage projects in Europe. It combines heritage preservation, restoration, & education and entails cooperation between the Jewish community and local municipalities, state ministries, the EU and others.
