ECN Answers

Q: What is America To Go?  Has the Food/Group Meal Procurement Policy changed?

No, Georgia Tech’s Food/Group Meal Procurement Policy has not changed; however, there is a great new tool for campus users to comply with the existing policy.

America To Go was incorporated into BuzzMart on April 1 and is ready to use if you’re planning an event with catering costs of less than $200 on campus.

With more than 25 vendors ranging from Chick-Fil-A to Proof of the Pudding, you can order a variety of options from boxed lunches to fruit platters and beverage services, as far out as you need.  Additionally, America To Go vendors offer a pick-up or delivery option and gratuity is included.

America To Go is available via GTRC or Foundation funds, and alleviates utilizing your personal funds with a reimbursement later. All forms are electronic and easy to process via BuzzMart.

For more information on how to place a food order in BuzzMart, please visit here.
