I'm in Toronto for the summer. How's it going? Ok. Yeah, just okay.

Moving to a new city is always a challenge, even more so when you're not permanently moving. I'm just checking out Toronto for a few months considering a move. I'm not going to lie, I've had some ups and downs. 

Here's an up:

* I wrote something! Hazlitt is Penguin Book's cool blog for hip literary people and I wrote about my favourite Say Wha?! book Bear.

Do You Know Someone In Toronto?

Tell them about the Say Wha?! show I'm doing August 7, 8 PM at Comedy Bar - details here. It's the show were funny people read from terrible books.

At the very least you should show someone this amazing poster my friend made for the show.

Am I Coming Back to Vancouver? 

Sure. I have to. All my stuff is still there and I don't have a job in Toronto. So when I do return I'll be doing another Teen Angst Night. If you have some stuff that you'd like to read at an event, just let me know and I'll add you to my roster of readers.
 
FYI You have always been able to unsubscribe to this newsletter at the bottom right, down there in the black. There's new spam law in Canada and everyone recently freaked out about this and sent a ton of emails.
