Check Your Saw Blade.

According to Jarraff maintenance and parts experts Matt and Dick, in order to maintain the highest level of cutting efficiency, maintaining the saw blade is key. Matt says, “The saw blade is the one piece of equipment on the Jarraff that comes in direct contact with limbs and branches every time you use it. Keeping the saw blade in good condition will help keep your crews operating at peak efficiency.”
Dick says, “Make sure to grease the saw arbor twice a day. And check the saw blade and its carbide tips for wear or damage. Keeping them sharp ensures the best performance in the field. When you’ve lost about 10% of the teeth on the blade, time to replace it!”
