Women's Wednesday Night Gatherings
Ladies, we have three more weeks together to either CREATE or STUDY. Join us tonight at 6:30 p.m. in room S104 as we continue our study of Ephesians 2:10. Next Wednesday, July 30, we will have a surprise art project to work on as we fellowship!
Women's Needle Night
Our next gathering of knitters, smockers, and crocheters is next Tuesday, July 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the home Peggy Frese.

Be-Loved: Lifeline Women's Event
On July 24, Lifeline is hosting Be-Loved, their annual Women's Event, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Kim Christenberry will share stories from (un)adopted trips she’s taken; Stephanie Hixon will share her testimony of being a foster mother; Laine Ferrill will share her experiences with international adoption; and Molly Anne Dutton, Auburn's Homecoming Queen, will share her story of being adopted. Rebekah Yoder is also performing.

Covenant Yard Sale
On Saturday, September 13 the Community Life Committee
will host a church-wide yard sale from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. Start your fall cleaning early, and set aside all usable items you would like to donate! We are accepting clothing, toys, art, small and large appliances, furniture, and miscellaneous household items. Please contact Kathryn Tortorici to arrange pick up of large items (529-3151, tortoricikathryn@gmail.com). We will take donations Sunday, September 7 through Friday, September 13. Nursery Items Needed
The Covenant Nursery and Mother's Day Out Program are in need of your gently used baby swings, exersaucers, and toddler toys. If you have any of these items that you can donate to our wee ones, please drop them off in the Nursery lobby. Thank you!

Online Giving
You can now register for online giving by clicking on the GIVE link at the top of our covpres.com homepage. Debit cards and e-checks are accepted, and you can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring payment for your tithe and offerings. With online giving, you now have another option available as you seek to be a good steward of the resources that God has given you.

New Members' Class
Our next New Members' class is August 10 immediately following the Sunday School hour. Join our pastoral staff for a time to learn about our mission and beliefs. Please contact Victoria Williams (871-7002 or vwilliams@covpres.com) to sign up for this class. You may also complete our New Member Form prior to coming to the class. Childcare is available by reservation for children ages 5 and under.

The Hymn Collective
Mark your calendars for Friday August 15 at 7:00 p.m. for a showcase of The Hymn Collective, a Birmingham-based hymn writers project featuring Red Mountain's Jeff Koonce, Ashley Self, and Covenant's own Rick Barnes. The project is designed as an ongoing resource to the city of Birmingham and abroad where churches can access a database of old hymn texts with new melodies. The showcase will feature a live performance of the group's latest selections. New Ministries and Wednesday Night Activities
Beginning Wednesday, September 3 our Wednesday night fellowship will offer dinner plus some exciting new training and classes will be available. Covenant is also launching a new Men's Ministry program this fall. More information to come regarding both of these programs!
