Good Morning Church,
How are you doing with your Read the Bible in One Year challenge? Are you staying up to date with your daily reading? I decided to give this a try and I am amazed at how God has come along side of me to help me meet this challenge. On the days when my time is limited, the readings are shorter. If I get behind, He helps me catch up. I am thankful that God put this Berean Challenge on Pastor Scott's heart. I encourage you to give it a try. Our Roots Children's Ministry is in need of volunteers over the summer. A nursery worker is needed on July 27th. There is also a need for a Teacher/helper team for the 2nd/5th grade class on August 3rd. If you are available to serve, please contact Koren at 352-205-1732 or email her at kobispo@comcast.net.
The "How to Study the Bible Life Group" will meet again on Monday evening, August 11th, at 6:30 here at CWP. Please bring a pen and paper, your Bible, and an open and willing mind to learn. For more information, please contact Pastor Scott Wiens at 352-434-2723.
Don't forget! We will be showing the movie, God's Not Dead, here at CWP on Friday evening, July 25th. Doors will open at 6:30 and the movie will begin at 7 PM. If you haven't already invited someone, now is the time. We are planning to have a "Kids Only" viewing room for children grades 1 - 5, with adult supervision.
Crossheirs Outdoor Ministries presents their 6th Annual 3D Archery Competition and Family Fun Shoot on Saturday, July 26th. This event will be held at Kevin & Jamy Young's home at 27200 SE 175th St., Umatilla. Registration begins at 7:30 am and the Shoot at 8:15 am. There will be a Mens & Ladies Division. Competition Shooter Fee is $5. This annual event is an Outreach to our community. For more information, please contact Kevin at 352-267-3727.
Save the date! All adults and youth are invited to join us on Friday, August 15th, at 6:30 here at CWP, for a Care Team Orientation. This event is open to everyone, whether you currently serve on the Care Team or not. We are all called to serve.

Melissa Carroll's dad, Stephen, for healing of melanoma.
The email address for Gayla Hunter that was sent out yesterday was incorrect. Her correct address is gaylah9963@aol.com. Calls, emails, or visits would be appreciated. Gayla will be unable to drive or be out and about for several weeks.
Bob Elmatti is recuperating from his recent heart procedure and other health issues at Waterman Village in Mt. Dora. His room number is 132 and his phone number is 383-0051 X 372. He would appreciate a call or visit.
Congratulations to William & Elba Rapien on the birth of their Granddaughter, Audrey Abigail Willardson. She was born on July 21st to their daughter, Melissa. Audrey weighs 7 lb. 9 oz. and is 20 inches long.
