Ready or not here's a HUGE update from the land of Brickmania!
Brickmania: Winners Aren't Born... They're Built.

New World War One Release...

QF 13 Pounder

The Ordnance Quick Firing 13 Pounder (weight refers to the weight of the shell) was developed as a light, rapid-firing artillery piece for use by British and Commonwealth cavalry. During World War One, the 13 pounder saw service on all fronts and was widely praised for it’s high mobility and lethal effectiveness. However, once the mobility of open warfare gave way to static trench lines, the QF 13 Pounder would eventually be phased out in favor of the more powerful 18 pounder.

The QF 13 Pounder has the following features:

  • Gun details include seats for two crewmen, deployable lower gun shield and collapsable hand spike
  • Includes custom figure with cloth jacket by MMCB and accessories by BrickArms
  • Separate ammunition limber has opening door
  • 1/35 scale to match other Brickmania models
  • Over-all color is new dark gray
  • Includes 75 genuine new-condition LEGO®, BrickArms® and MMCB elements
  • Sophomore Skill Level (2-4 years experience with LEGO is recommended)
We still have some of the Australian Light Horse Infantry figures available from last week's update. We only made 50 and they're going fast!

New German Gunner Minifig

German Gunner
We have made up just a small amount of these WW2 German army soldiers with sand green torsos. For a very limited time you can get one with an equally special BrickArms MG42, Tripod and Bullet chain combination.  If any survive until next week they’ll be shipped off to BrickFair. Get one while you can!

Desert Digital Camo

We are now have full sheets of camouflage decals for those looking for exciting new customization challenges.  Watch the video below to see how the camouflage pattern was applied to the BrickArms HCSR (tan color like shown is currently available in the Brickmania store)

There's no limit for what you can apply decals to!  Check out Lando's video guide for applying decals to any surface:

Task Force Ranger

The Army Rangers for our Task Force Ranger (Black Hawk Down) kits were the most expensive and difficult custom figures we’ve ever made. Because of this we’re not planning on selling them individually—even we are constantly being asked to do so. To find some sort of middle ground, we are giving everyone a limit-time opportunity to obtain up to three extra Rangers with the purchase of the Task Force Ranger version of the M35A2 “Deuce and a Half” Truck. And don’t forget the Humvee also comes with two rangers!

Customize special

For a limited time we’re offering the Minifig Customization book bundled with a Roaglaan’s Customs WW2 decal sample pack and a sheet of ultra-fine grit sandpaper (useful for removing the old printing off your old figures).

Going, Going... Almost Gone!

Bf109
We're down to less than a dozen Bf 109 "Kurfurst" kits left!  It's highly unlikely that we'll be able to produce another batch due to parts availability. If you want one, get it now, because before too long it will only be available as memories and as a T-shirt!

We will have a joint booth with our friends at BrickArms, GI Brick and Brickstuff. Our vendor booth presence will be scaled down from previous years, but you can expect us to have the very best and latest products in stock, including two new US Ranger mini kits that will be released exclusively at this event (if there are left overs we’ll put ‘em up on the web store).

More Events Happening Fall 2014

September: LST 325 Cruise on the Tennessee River
The D-Day veteran LST 325 will be setting sail this year on the Tennessee River for a three week cruise with stops in Decatur, AL on September 4-9th and Chattanooga, TN on September 12-17th. Brickmania’s massive Battle of Peleliu display featuring a 10-foot long LEGO replica LST will be on display inside the ship as part of the tour. There will also be exclusive Brickmania kits and minifigs available in the LST 325 gift shop for both stops. We're hoping to have the display set up in Evansville, IN at either the beginning or end of the cruise as well.

October 4-5: “Tank Farm” Open House - Nokesville, VA
Brickmania has once again been invited to display at the Americans in Wartime Museum’s open house at the “Tank Farm” in Nokesville, VA. Features vehicle and tactical demonstrations, living history units, educational activities, roundtable discussion with decorated veterans and much more. In addition to bringing out some of our displays, we have been given permission to set up a vendor table as well.

We are also currently working on a major Battle of the Bulge display for the 1st Infantry Division museum at Cantigny Park (Wheaton, IL). We're aiming to have it installed around Thanksgiving time, but exact dates are yet to be announced. We'll pass on more information as we have it.
