2015 will be PEEP’s 20th Birthday and as part of the celebrations we will be introducing our updated Learning Together Programme and Training, coming early in the New Year.
Why update and What will change?
The current Programme is still valid but will benefit from an updated look. Feedback from you has reassured us that you like the existing evidence-based content but will appreciate the following changes:
- Entire Programme available on our new log-in website
- Clearer format and guidance
- Easier to create tailor-made programmes for families you work with
- Latest research and new ideas added
- Five strands of development: Personal, social and emotional - Physical and health - Communication and language - Early literacy - Early maths
- Downloadable booklets for parents
- Improved evaluation forms to support evidencing outcomes
- Nationally recognised parent accreditation
- Free PEEP Practitioner Network membership
How will this affect PEEP Training?
Our current PEEP for Practitioners Training will continue until the end of 2014, when it will be replaced by our updated version, called Learning Together Programme Training. It will continue to be a two day course with level 3 City & Guilds accreditation.
If you are already a PEEP-trained practitioner you can carry on delivering our current programme or attend our updated training and gain access to the updated programme and resources online, at a reduced price. If you have recent PEEP experience (attended PEEP for Practitioners Training &/or used the PEEP programme with families since January 2013) then you may prefer to attend a one-day training update. Both courses will enable you to (re)register for PEEP City & Guilds if appropriate.
