Various Locations
The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut continues its 6th annual Accessible Art series of visual art exhibitions on Monday, August 25th, with 4 artists showing in 4 local venues through Thursday, October 23rd. A year-long , multi-site program, Accessible Art is intended to make the work of visual artists accessible to new audiences by providing, over a calendar year, increased exposure through a network of area venues who share in the creative and economic values of working together. Colorfully entering the Fall season, the Cultural Alliance presents the works of artists Karla Bernstein (Bethel), Renato Ghio (Danbury), Shoshana Kerstesz (North Bergen NJ), and Honorah O'Neill (Bethel).

From 1969-1974, nobody had more Top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets. During this period Three Dog Night was undoubtedly the most popular band in America with twenty-one consecutive Top 40 hits and twelve straight gold LPs. In 2014, the show goes on. The band tours extensively, their records continue to sell in great numbers and they receive regular airplay on radio stations around the world. With chart topping hits including, “Mama Told Me Not To Come,” “Joy To The World,” “ Black and White,” “Shambala” and many more, Three Dog Night continues to sell out venues across the world!

Men and women of varying ages and interests travel from all over the region to engage in BCC’s spirited smithy community. The Good Forge houses 2 coal forges, 2 propane forges, safety equipment, and hand and power tools needed to forge, sharpen and finish blades, tools, and functional and decorative steel objects. BCC’s Blacksmithing and bladesmithing workshops cater to absolute beginners, experienced students and hobbyists, and accomplished artisans. |

Students will create mini renditions of famous masterpieces. Some examples of the works campers may choose to recreate / re-imagine include; Sunflowers by Van Gogh, Picasso Portraits, Waterlilies by Monet or Works by Klimt.
