Sustainability

The Federal Government on Thursday had the Carbon Tax repealed in the Senate.

How the Federal Government will encourage Australian business to address climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, remains to be addressed.

As an association one of the topics for discussion at the Annual Conference Workshop session will be how to we as an association feel that we should continue to address the issue of sustainability.

Reading the Annual Award of Excellence submissions it is clear that the industry is proud of the ways that we address the issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability. Speaking with the nominees it appears that the asset owners are still considering this to be an important issue when planning and executing work.

We welcome your involvement in the discussion at the conference.
