Dear Moms and Dads
Welcome to the 3rd Term at FHPPS. We trust that you all had a good holiday with your children and you are ready for another happy term!
Please read this newsletter carefully and diarise all the new dates for the term particularly our two main Fundraisers. We value your support!!!
MANDELA DAY - 18th July 2014 - Funds Raised to be given to Rainbow educare
This year Mandela Day fell during the school holidays. We will be raising funds for Rainbow Educare and will do this on Wednesday  23rd July 2014.
We will be having a Pancake day at school. Each child is encouraged to bring R5 if they would like a pancake on Wednesday.
Class reps will be sending out an email to their parents asking for 5 volunteers from each class to make 10 pancakes each. If you are able to volunteer please bring your 10 pancakes to school on Wednesday morning. The school will provide sugar and cinnamon so the pancakes only need to be plain ones please. Layering the pancakes between cling film or wax paper will help them not to stick to each other. Thank you in advance for your support!
PENGUIN CAKE SALE
Please could the Penguin moms and dads bring in a plate of eats for the cake sale on Friday 1st August. The eats can be taken to the kitchen on Friday morning or given to a teacher. Cup-cakes, fudge, popcorn, iced biscuits, and jelly are some ideas. Thanks!
