MANDELA DAY - 18th July 2014 - Funds Raised to be given to Rainbow educare
This year Mandela Day fell during the school holidays. We will be raising funds for Rainbow Educare and will do this on Wednesday 23rd July 2014.
We will be having a Pancake day at school. Each child is encouraged to bring R5 if they would like a pancake on Wednesday.
Class reps will be sending out an email to their parents asking for 5 volunteers from each class to make 10 pancakes each. If you are able to volunteer please bring your 10 pancakes to school on Wednesday morning. The school will provide sugar and cinnamon so the pancakes only need to be plain ones please. Layering the pancakes between cling film or wax paper will help them not to stick to each other. Thank you in advance for your support!

Food for thought:
The purpose of life is not to be
happy — but to matter,
to be productive,
to be useful,
to have it make some difference
that you have lived at all. ~Leo Rosten
