Your Vote is Worth $18,000,000: Make It Count!

Dear Fellow Republican,

Make your vote count tomorrow! The Republican Party has an obligation to ensure that the candidates nominated for office will consistently and regularly vote and support those principles and policies which voters expect from Republican candidates, some of which include: limited government, less taxes, less regulations, less spending, and the idea that citizens’ rights and economic successes are not to be controlled by the government, but are intrinsic within us and our work.

If the GOP nominates candidates that don’t carry through on promises, it hurts your name and reputation, it hurts the reputation of the party, and it causes Republicans to lose elections. Saying "He/She is the best candidate we had" is no consolation to a general election voter. No matter how much money a candidate can raise or spend, we have to ensure our candidates stay faithful to our principles, and educate voters on how our principles will help them, or we will lose elections. Accountability is key.

In the ongoing U.S. Senate race in Georgia, there are two candidates who are vying for the Republican nomination. So far, between candidate campaigns and outside PAC spending, over $18,000,000 has been spent on the Republican primary for Senate. FEC Campaign disclosures for candidates David Perdue and Jack Kingston can be found by clicking on their names.

As you can see in the links, your vote is very valuable to a lot of people that have donated significant amounts of money to each campaign. Before voting, please ask yourself if over $18,000,000 should be spent to pick one Republican over another, or if that money would have been better spent on educating voters on Republican principles and how electing any true Republican would be superior to Democrat Michelle Nunn? And, most importantly, please educate yourself on our candidates, read the campaign disclosures, and ask yourself whether the candidate you are supporting will faithfully and consistently vote with Republican principles, or if they will violate Republican principles to give more weight to those who gave their campaigns money?

We need to have the best candidates for office to Advance the GOP. Your vote is worth $18,000,000, make it count!
