Great design is only a part of the story

At Ecocreative, great design is only part of the story. More and more, our clients rely on us to devise effective strategies, create engaging content and build tools to meet their needs. This whole- of-project approach is efficient and effective, and we think the results speak for themselves.

Getting kids outside? It's only natural

Nature Play SA is a new organisation devoted to encouraging and enabling kids (and their parents) to spend more time paying outdoors in nature. We adapted material from their Western Australian counterpart and created complementary material for a younger age group. Our local knowledge enabled us to be specific and accurate, tailoring information for a South Australian audience.
Our management of the Nature Play SA Facebook page has been fundamental in spreading the Nature Play message, gathering more than 7000 followers in the first six months. This has helped to generate anticipation and enthusiasm for the Nature Play projects we’re working on, from strategy sessions through to tools that should soon be available to families everywhere.

Barossa stories

We've created a series of interpretive signs near Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre. The signs inform visitors of the plants and animals they’re likely to see, explain the revegetation work under way, and also cover the rich history of the region. We had the signs translated into Mandarin to cater for the large number of Chinese-speaking tourists who visit the Barossa Valley.

Climate opportunities

Talking to industry about climate change can be an uphill battle, so we came up with an intriguing concept for the Australian Wine Research Institute’s new program. 'Opportunities in a new climate' shifted the emphasis from negative to positive, highlighting the benefits of a more sustainable approach.

Launching into action

At Ecocreative, we believe some things are worth celebrating, so we were delighted when Alexandrina Council recently released their new Environmental Action Plan with a festive launch event. We designed the EAP and its summary, developing a system of icons to intuitively guide people through the plan and to identify work that results from the plan.

The write stuff

We’ve recently been working with a new wordsmith. Noel Probert is an award-winning writer who has been helping us with several projects, writing copy, editing and proofreading. His blog post about his time with us so far made us feel very loved…

It’s never too soon to talk to us about your new project.
Let’s make it happen.
