Many people are angry at the world for its mistakes. They meditate on the bad things that are happening and harp on the constant mistakes made by our government, school system, and Wall Street. I believe like everybody else that it is time for a change. It’s time for a revolution! This revolution does not begin with the government, it begins in our homes. I have learned over the years that when God asked us to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth He was not ONLY talking about having babies, He was talking about multiplying His fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness and Temperance. God wants us to show and operate in these fruits within the household. Children do not learn from what they are told, they learn from what they are shown. They watch their parents very closely. They watch the way they dress, the people they hang out with, the places they go for fun, the TV shows they watch... Children are always watching and learning. Hence, every move that is made must be made on purpose in order to build for our generations to come. As we see the epidemic of fatherless homes, it is imperative that God is the Father of every member of the family, especially the father.
Every action we do ought to resound and resonate with the love and power of God. If we allow God to stretch and work through us, we will start a revolution right where we stand, and move mountains. Let us create peace in our environments - right at home. Let us create love where there is no love, let us frame our world by Love. Hebrews 11:3—Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. God is our hope in the day of evil. Let us display God’s character in the household and begin our revolution of God’s Word at home.
