The Wait is Almost Over!
Advent fun continues this Sunday as we finish up our season of waiting with ornament making following worship.
Also, join us for worship on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. See below for an announcement about Improv at the Stable. After worship, we'll share dinner with Alas de Salvación. Bring drinks or dessert to share; they'll provide the main course.

The very excited East Valley Youth Group holding their gifts of trash for all to see; yes, excited. Very excited. Thanks to those who helped feed the kiddos. We had lots of fun, actually. Next up: Snow (We Hope!) Weekend in Payson, January16-18.

Calling All Kids!
At our Christmas Eve service, we're inviting kids of all ages to participate in Improv at the Stable. It's an impromptu Christmas play with costumes and fun. We don't have to know if you're participating before, but it's helpful. Let Pat Barton know if your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, second cousin's daughter, neighbor kid or anyone else will be at Chalice on Christmas Eve and wants to be involved. Seriously--all are welcome!

We're Taking a Break!
The church office will be closed from Christmas Day through New Year's Day. Liz will still be in from time to time, so you can still send emails or leave voicemails for her to get when she's here. However, in case of an emergency, call Rev. Abigail's cell: 480.489.1779.

It's Camp Time!
Ok, not really. But it is time to think about camp! We'll be at Camp Pinerock in Prescott again this year, from May 31 through June 5. If you're interested in counseling, download an application here. They're due by February 1. If you have questions, feel free to ask! Jim Barton, Bill Carter and Rev. Abigail have all counseled at camps in Arizona and can probably answer your questions.

Seven Nights!
In other exciting news, IHELP now has enough churches to provide emergency housing for seven nights each week! We'll start hosting on the first Saturday night of each month. Alas de Salvación will take over the Monday that we've been alternating with them. January 3 is our first Saturday hosting. Contact Kathy Corner to find out how you can help!
