Merry and Bright
The Westin Poinsett
Greenville, SC
The historic Poinsett remains a destination point poised for the holidays. Originally completed in the 1920′s, this 10-story landmark hotel of Greenville's downtown was restored to its former grandeur in 1996. Careful attention to detail in the lobbies, restaurant and grand ballrooms was required to remain true to the original design intent. Electrical challenges included updating for codes, infrastructure for power, telecommunications and fire alarm systems, especially through the extensive marble and plaster finishes.
