Hello chocolate-lovers,
I wanted to send you a quick note with last-minute info on all the chocolatey news in the LL world, to make sure you don't miss out on all the lovely stuff we have going on this time of year.
If you haven't ordered holiday sweets yet, be sure to order by today and select Express shipping. We're shipping as fast as we can, which is really fast because we have an amazing team (yay!), but the mails can be mighty fickle this time of year, so it's best to play it safe and select a fast shipping method. Please inquire if you have any questions about if your package will arrive on time!
For locals we'll be open Monday December 22nd - Wednesday December 24th from 12:00pm - 7:00pm and normal hours this weekend. We'll be closed Christmas Day and then resuming normal hours until the end of the year. See you at the shop!
Oh! We have mugs now. They're made in the USA, they feel so good in your hand, and we have two styles: classic (white with my own mug on em, i.e., "our logo"), and wild (black, with our logo on one side and "I ♥ Furious Vulvas" on the other. On our site and in the shop you can get them with a Drinking Chocolate Magic Sphere in them, or with a box of Furious Vulva chocolates, fragrant with Hawaiian pink sea salt and pink peppercorns.
If you don't know what your friends and loved ones will want for the holidays, we have gift certificates they can redeem any time, too. And, we still have a few of the special Chocolate of the Month subscriptions we're releasing for the holidays—buy one today and you can request a special holiday card to be sent to the recipient to announce their gift, which will begin when we return from our annual sabbatical (January 1-21) in February.
If you're in NYC, you can shop for your Lagusta's Luscious chocolates in two locations this week: the Vaute Couture pop up shop in SoHo and the Vegan Shop Up in Bushwick, Brooklyn. From December 17th-30th (except for the 24th-25th) Vaute Couture will be having a pop up shop at 311 West Broadway in Manhattan and will have a selection of our treats as well as Sweet Maresa's goods! Vaute Couture will be having a 30% off sale and if you mention that you saw this post and you can receive $20 off a coat and $10 off a holiday dress. The Vegan Shop Up happens at the Pine Box Rock Shop in Bushwick this Saturday from 12pm-6:00pm, we'll be stocked with holiday goodies!
Oh, and would you like a little discount on chocolates? OK, no problem. Our wonderful colleague Fran Costigan sent out a newsletter packed with holiday gift ideas, and one of them was our chocolates. So, just enter "weheartfran" on our website to get 10% off anything (except The Caramel Collection) in the "caramel" section of our site. (Not valid in the shop, alas!)
OK, last thing, and it involves A SALE. Woooo! We'll be on our annual sabbatical January 1-21, so no orders will go out and the shop will be closed. We'll be doing some house cleaning the week between Christmas and New Years and will be having some special sales in the shop, so watch out on social media (Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter) for all the details.

I'm not much for swag.
People say we should get t-shirts printed up, or totebags. No one needs these things, the earth is clogged with these things. I'm not ruling out a beautiful artist-designed, well-crafted LL tote (no one needs totes, but I have 97 of them, so who am I to judge), but don't expect many non-consumables from us in the future.
But, a mug. You don't need a mug, but these are pretty great, you gotta admit. Made in the USA too, which turns out to be pretty hard to find. They feel really good in your hand.
We have a million options:
- The classic white mug. The Lagusta's Luscious logo on the front, it's white, nothing on the back.
- Snazzy black mug with "I ♥ Furious Vulvas" on one side and our logo on the other side. Yeah!
- Either of the mugs with one of our Drinking Chocolate Magic Spheres in them. The Magic Spheres are pretty amazing. Just heat up a cup of almond or coconut or hemp or oat or whatever milk, pour it over the Magic Sphere, whisk it a little, and you have fresh hot rich intense drinking chocolate, complete with mini marshmallows. (We aren't selling the Drinking Chocolate Magic Spheres separately, sorry! They tend to break in shipping. And before you ask, of course the marshies are vegan! Sweet & Sara made em for us in their huge marshie factory in Queens--no GMOs, either!)
- The Vulvas mug with a box of 12 Furious Vulvas

Chocolate of the Month Club Subscriptions are now available for 2015! We're offering three month and six month memberships to start in February of 2015. Three month memberships will go through April and six month memberships through July. If you wish to give the club as a holiday present please indicate so in the notes upon checkout and we'll send out a gift card to you, or the recipient, in time for Christmas.
