Renewal of Business Permit

For businesses registered in the Philippines, please be reminded that the filing for the renewal of your business permits for the year 2015 should be done between January 1st and 20th, 2015Under the law, every business establishment is required to annually renew its registration with the local government unit (LGU) that has jurisdiction over its place of business.

Penalties for Late Filing
Local Government Unit typically imposes a 25% surcharge on the unpaid amount plus 2% interest per month, on top of the unpaid amount, if filing is not performed by January 20th. Your business may also not be allowed to operate if you fail to renew your business permit.

Kittelson & Carpo's legal compliance team would be glad to assist you with the renewal of your business permit. You may contact Ms. Clarence Alcordo (clarence@kittelsoncarpo.com) or Mr. Jayson Badion (jayson@kittelsoncarpo.com) for more information regarding this service.
