QUAC Holiday/Awards Dinner Party

Several years ago it was decided that there just wasn't enough time in the month of December to squeeze in one more party before Christmas. A January party was such a great and stress-relieving idea that the tradition has continued. January 10 has been reserved for the 2015 holiday and awards dinner party. Come join in the festivities, celebrate the new year, and acknowledge the achievements of your QUAC teammates at this highlight QUAC event. Thanks to Wes Heaps for reserving the Millcreek Hollow clubhouse, 1134 East 3300 South, again this year.
One of the evening's highlights is a slide show of QUAC events, parties and competitions taken throughout 2014. The pot-luck and BYOB dinner gets underway at 7:00PM with the presentation of awards and recognitions beginning at approximately 8:30PM

Century Swim 2015 to Benefit Volunteers of America

Looking for a great way to start the new year? Spend two hours with QUAC and at the same time help raise money for a great cause. This year all money raised by QUAC's Century Swim will benefit Volunteers of America – Utah to go towards their Homeless Youth Resource Center.
The Century Swim takes place on Thursday, New Year's Day from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Fairmont Aquatic Center. Participating swimmers will set their own goal of a number of pool lengths, laps, or 100-yard rounds to be completed in this two-hour period. Then hit-up friends and co-workers to pledge a donation of any amount for each length, lap, or 100 yards completed. Print and fill out this form. All donations are tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
If your New Year's resolutions included getting more exercise and being a better person, this is a great way to get started. As a bonus, it's lots of fun and you'll have your teammates to encourage you and cheer you on.
