"Season’s Greetings" with the Rev. Dr. Stuart Baskin

The angel Gabriel’s strange greeting to Mary is an unsettling, disruptive message, not just to a young girl, but also to us and to our world. It changed whatever plans she had for herself and her life. And if we will hear it anew for our time, it promises to change our lives and our plans as well.

Gateway to Hope

Did you know that there is an estimated homeless population of 600 in Tyler—and that 27 percent are veterans and 16 percent are children? As a resource center for the city's homeless, Gateway to Hope is gearing up for the cold winter months. Help G2H collect clean, used, casual men’s clothing and new white socks and boxers, which will be distributed at Christmas time. Drop donations at Gateway to Hope (601 E. Valentine, 75702).
