Industrial Biotechnology in the European Union: Identifying the best pathways to boos growth of the bioeconomy

The BIO-TIC project, due to be completed in July 2015, is currently developing a series of recommendations that will help overcome the barriers to industrial biotech in Europe and help shape the European Research and Innovation agenda through to 2030. The December issue of US magazine Industrial Biotechnology features an overview on the competitive position of Europe internationally as an industrial biotech location and the actions that could be taken to improve this position.
