This week at the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market

Last market of 2014!

This Saturday will be the last market of 2014 (back January 3rd 2015) and we are ready to celebrate! Get all the local ingredients you'll need for your holiday meals as well as some last minute treats and gifts. While you shop, enjoy our new fire pit, sip some hot cocoa and get to know our awesome community partners The Bridge Newspaper and Revolutions Bike Coop. Chat with The Bridge vendors and learn about the trials and triumphs of the homeless community in Memphis, encourage the children from the Christmas Bike Donation Project who will be warming up for their first ride in the labyrinth part of the parking lot, and get your fill of the fellowship and cheer that the holidays are all about. See you Saturday!

With Winter approaching, we want to remind everyone that as the days get shorter and colder, the most vulnerable Memphians are in dire need of warm coats, scarves and socks. We have a drop bin for warm clothing every market until the Spring season. Let's spread reasons to be thankful through the community!

This week, get to know Frank Hart, of True Vine Farm.
