Hello again friends,
The summer has been a bit of a whirlwind! Hence the relative lateness of this newsletter. But hopefully not too late to convince some of you to come out TOMORROW NIGHT for the Gathering Sparks Singalong Soirée at the Tranzac Club in Toronto. A great chance to unwind from the weekend and sing!
Jane and I had a fabulous time at the Mariposa Festival, where Gathering Sparks got to participate in a slew of fun workshops and concerts. After that I dashed off to Haliburton for a week of teaching ukulele, and then I hopped on a plane and taught ukulele teachers at the James Hill Ukulele Institute in Vancouver.
Coming up in a few days I'll be headed to The Woods Music and Dance Camp, then a Gathering Sparks songwriting retreat, and then Labour Day Weekend the wonderful Shelter Valley Folk Festival, one of the finest little festivals in Canada. And in September, Gathering Sparks heads to Nova Scotia -- details to come soon. I hope to see you along the way, but if not, stay well and keep singing!
