Updates
As has been announced in class for the last several weeks, we are raising the class fees. Along with the new fees we are changing the structure of the classes slightly.
New fees go into affect on August 1st, 2016
FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
REGULAR CLASSES
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7 - 9 pm
$40 per class
$120 for a set of 4 classes, once per week
$200 for a set of 8 classes, twice per week
$260 for a set of 12 classes, three times per week
As before, all sets must be completed within 5 weeks. We only make allowances for illnesses or vacations if you inform us in advance.
SIX MONTHS FLAT-FEE
Unlimited class attendance for six months:
For one class per week - $650
For two classes per week - $1,000
For three classes per week - $1,375
As before there are no make-up classes or refunds for flat fee sets. We make allowances for illness or vacation time if you inform us in advance.
We accept cash, checks, or money orders. Automatic electronic payments can be arranged; speak to the manager for details. Please make checks and money orders payable to: Martinez Academy of Arms
**Payments are due before the beginning of class.
**Please sign-in the book and note:
- Your full name written legibly
- The number of your set (i.e.; 1/1 for one class or 1/4 for a set four, etc.)
- The amount that you have paid and mark it (PD)
INDIVIDUAL PLASTRON LESSONS
Pre-requisite is a minimum of one year’s training.
$20 per lesson / 6 lessons $100 / 12 lessons $175

- You must sign up for your lesson the class before, no exceptions.
- If you attend classes on Mondays and/or Fridays, please arrive timely. Lessons will be given in the first part of the class and must be completed before the break.
- On Wednesdays, the plastron lesson can be taken during the 6-7pm time slot. If you are participating in the Special Class on Wednesday, then your lesson will be given in the first part of the regular class and must be completed before the break.
*Please note that as we mentioned in class you can still purchase your class sets or plastron cards ahead of time at the present rate until the end of this week.
NEW
All students will now receive a 4 minute technical correction plastron lesson during each class. Please arrive on time and get ready promptly. This plastron lesson is included in your regular class fee.
These 4 minute technical correction plastron lessons are now part to the regular class structure and do not take the place of the individual plastron lessons.
