Call for Presenters!
Arizona Autism Coalition is currently accepting proposals for the 2016 Annual Conference on Saturday, November 5th, 2016
This year's theme is "Beyond Awareness to Collaboration!" Arizona Autism Coalition is seeking presenters to share information designed to enhance a collaborative approach in the following areas:
Advocacy, Behavior Support, Communication, Community Inclusion, Education, Family Support, Health Care & Services, Life Skills, Social Skills and Transition to Adulthood. Consideration of other topics will be given and approved pending availability.
Presentations should address autism specific topics that provide best practices, practical skills, relevant research, or valuable resources for professionals and/or parents and families affected by autism.
Deadline for submitting proposals is July 30, 2016

Daring Adventures: Sled Ice Hockey at the Ice Den
Where: 9375 E. Bell Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85260
Dates: Sundays – July 3, 10, 24, 31 and August 7, 2016
Time: 10:10am – 11:10pm (please arrive early by 9:30am)
Cost: $5 per event (Free if you Mention the Coyotes Sled hockey team sent you)
***Prior to the event, you must email signup@daring-adventures.org to reserve a sled. Please arrive at the Ice Den by 9:30am. ***
Here is a fun and exciting way to beat the summer heat! No ice experience is necessary. Sled ice hockey are particularly accommodating for people with mobility impairments, but anyone can have a blast on the sleds! The Phoenix Coyotes, Sled classic & Western sled hockey champions, will be on hand to provide free on ice Training and Mentoring!!!

What is Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste?
Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste (P.O.W.W.O.W.) disperses fresh produce to communities at churches, schools and other entities throughout Northern and Southern Arizona including the metro Tucson and Phoenix areas.
Anyone can contribute $10 to shop up to 60 lbs. of fresh nutritional rescued produce, to share with neighbors, friends, family, or someone in need.
