PATA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2106 PATA Grand and Gold Awards. Proudly supported and sponsored by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) for the last 21 years, this year’s awards recognise the achievements of 26 separate organisations and individuals. PATA will present 31 Grand and Gold Awards to such organisations as the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), EXO Travel, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hotel ICON, Jetwing Hotels, Ministry of Tourism Republic of Indonesia, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Tourism Malaysia.

Mixed growth levels forecast for Pacific sub-regions

Micronesia is expected to top the growth table for international visitor arrivals over the next four years with average annual growth rates of 7.7 percent. Oceania is expected to experience more moderate average annual growth (4.2%) over the same period while Melanesia and Polynesia are forecasted to experience average growth rates of 2.7 percent and one percent respectively between 2016 and 2020.

PATA New York Chapter: China FAM reunion on August 3
 

CNTA and Hebei Provincial People’s Government have launched the '1,000 American Tourists Visiting the Great Wall' event at Jinshanling Section of the Great Wall in Hebei province.

Departing from New York, there were over 30 travel colleagues who took part in this historical event travelling with New York PATA Vice-Chairman Bing Sun.

A China FAM reunion with distinguished guest speaker, CNTO Director Yaping Xue, and presentation by Melia Hotels International is planned for August 3rd, 2016 at the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA).
