Year 6 Leavers Show - 'Ye-Ha!'
Year 6 pupils perform their Leavers Show - 'Ye-Ha!'
Year 6 children at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, finished off their year in style by performing their end of year play,'Ye-Ha' to parents and family members.
The pupils showed assured confidence and enthusiasm as they sang, danced and acted the Wild West themed play.
To conclude the afternoon's performance, the Year 6 children received their leavers' certificates from ex-staff members Kirsty Pavett and Sue White.
Headteacher Matt Woolard and Deputy Headteacher Renette Fourie then presented trophies to recognise particularly impressive achievements.
Winners of the Achievement Cups were:
Reading Assessments - 1 Adriana Civilyte; 2 Alfie Hine; 3 Louis Hooke
Writing Assessments - 1 Oscar Woolard; 2 Jeevan Juttla; 3 Francesca Bull
Mathematics Assessments - 1 Teddy Newby; 2 Adriana Civilyte; 3 Ethan Toye
Arts Awards - Maddison Nutley and Alfie Trowbridge
Computing Awards - Lily Hobbs and Justin Dzanjalimodzi
Sports Awards - Lucy Bailey and Charlie David
Citizenship Awards - Millie Bartlett and Thomas Chapman.
Headteacher Matt Woolard said: "The children in Year 6 have impressed us ever since they joined our school.
"They have achieved a huge amount at Hereward and we wish them all the very best next year and in the future."
