The end of the art trail is nigh!

So much more to see, so little time, so the question is how to choose which studios to fit in across the Wiltshire countryside. You could build a studio trail around one of the activities where art is very much in action  For instance there is pot coiling on Saturday with Liz Moakes at Studio 13, or on Sunday you can watch Bryan Hanlon painting in oils in Studio 19.  On both Saturday and Sunday there's a wide selection of skills on show. Starting from West to East:
  • Photography help with Susie Bigglestone (Studio 2)
  • Coloured pencil technique with Pat Heffer (Studio 7)
  • Painting demonstrations at 2pm with Paul Oakley (Studio 8)
  • Jeannette Therrien will demonstrate techniques in making items in glass (Studio 24)
  • Glass casting by Belinda Harding, sculptor in Studio 26
  • The remarkable bursary artists who had never drawn or painted before at 'Help the Heroes' Tedworth House invite you to draw on their wall (Studio 31)
  • Clive Wilson lets you into his watercolour secrets which he has deployed around the  world and demonstrates how to "be positive and think negative!" (Studio 41)
Finally, if you're 'totally arted out' you can celebrate with Gillian Reeve after hours on Saturday (6 - 8pm) at Studio 32 or chill out in Marlborough and join Wagon Yard Artists in Studio 21 when they draw the lucky winner of their £50 voucher on Sunday

The images attached to this mailing show a glimpse of the editor's art trail last week end.
