Meet Our Team!
We speak with many of you on the phone regularly, but you likely do not know the faces behind our voices. We have heard you asking, and we want to help you get to know our fantastic staff better.
I would like to virtually introduce our main payroll team:
Heather Randazzo, Sonephet Vongprasearth, Kalene Abraham, Leigh Woolbright, Elisa McLaughlin and Bev Pomering. We are the team on the front lines handling your payroll needs on a daily basis.
Making sure you receive your payrolls on time, every time, are our drivers - Lou Britnell. and Ken Hennen.
We also regularly call on other resources within the Morrissey Family Businesses. Lori Johnson, Mary Beth Clausen and a few others will be introduced in future newsletters.
I am proud to provide management direction to this great team. Our efforts here are focused almost exclusively on delivering exceptional service to each of you. Our aim is to go Beyond Payroll...Beyond Expectations.

Illinois Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program
Also new and expected to be implemented in Spring/Summer 2017 is the Secure Choice Program. This law essentially provides that an Illinois business with more than 25 employees must provide a retirement savings program for its employees. A company with a SIMPLE, a 401(k), or a defined benefit pension plan will all meet the requirement. But lacking any other retirement plan, the company will have to implement the Secure Choice plan being put together by the State of Illinois.
For some additional information about Secure Choice, you can visit the State Treasurer’s page here:
If you expect to be in need of a retirement plan, and are considering alternatives to the State of Illinois program, let us know. We’d be glad to discuss this with you.

We are sad to share with you news of the passing of Richard Johansson.
Richard was a part of our Morrissey Family Businesses from the time we acquired Market Dimensions in April 2000 until his retirement at the end of 2012. He sold payroll services for Market Dimensions (and its predecessor Numericomp) for many years. Please join with us in praying for his eternal rest and for the welfare and comfort of his family.

Q: May I please speak with Annette?
A: Annette DeBenedetto was an important ‘voice’ of Market Dimensions for something north of 45 years. Many of you spoke with her on a variety of occasions, or for a time maybe spoke only with Annette. So we still are occasionally asked to connect a caller to Annette. We feel bad that maybe we didn’t spread the word more fully… Annette headed into her retirement years nearly a year ago. We wish her a long and happy retirement. And we’re glad to have someone else take your call.

Q: Who does my payroll?
A: Well...Market Dimensions does! All kidding aside, please see the photo above for all the payroll experts in our office. While there may be one or even two experts on your account, we try not to fight over you!

Please share your payroll stories!
As we mentioned, we intend for this newsletter to be informative, yet something you look forward to reading when it appears. If your "payroll department" has something comical to share, please send it our way. We don't promise to print them all, but we might!
